Inserted links in Electro
Tech for suppliers of Land Rover wiring harnesses on three continents.
Added a link to Rocky Mountain Parabolic Suspension.
Added a second page to Tech
Shorts describing my home-made spare tyre carrier and associated things.
Acquired a Kodak DC215 digital camera. Look out
for more and better pics on these pages!

Made a new opening page. I've been reading a site
called "Does your web-page suck" and I decided that mine did. I've provided
clickable links direct to departments for regular visitors while retaining an option to go
to the more descriptive Navigation page.
Added some illustrations to the new Electronic Ignition section.

Electro Tech is the new name for the Rewiring pages. See NEW articles on Rewiring your Rover.
Tech Stuff was getting a little unwieldy,
especially since I've branched out into multi-page articles on rewiring. It is now divided
into several sections Tech Stuff, Electro
Tech, Tech Shorts, Holden Engine
Conversion and I've moved the entry points for each section to the Navigation Page. I
hope that new visitors will find it easy to navigate.
Old friends coming back for another look must forgive me for changing things around.
Believe me, I don't do it just to annoy you. Whats New? is always the
best place to visit first to see what I've done now.
Added a page of pictures taken at the 50th Anniversary Rally at Cooma NSW, Easter '98.
Slow loading but worth a look.

Added Tech Shorts page to
Tech Stuff. These are smaller technical pieces relating to Mustang Sally.
Added John's Series III
88" to Land Rovers.
Added a visitors e-mail to "The Universal
Cleanser" in Tales of the Unexpected
Added a few pictures here and there and revised
some text.

A bit of fiddling with the navigation structure of
the pages. There is now an entry page to the site so that the counter only clicks over
once for each visit. Previously, visitors tended to come back to the home page as they
browsed around the site giving multiple counts. I now have the Navigation Page serving as
a sort of crossroads within the site. The counter and your e-mail are important to me as
they help me to gauge the amount of traffic through the site and encourage me to think up
new material.
The Holden Engine
Conversion article is here. Hope my Australian and Pacific region readers like
it because it took long enough to research and write.
Started on an article on Rewiring
your Rover. Not finished yet but you can see the first section on making
terminations.

Added a story to Tales of
the Unexpected.
Recalculated gearing tables. Fairey Overdrive
ratio figure I had was slightly wrong.
Slightly revised navigation of My Rover page. Now
named Land Rovers and deals with my Rover and other Rovers.
Added a link to Land-Rover
Spares
Coming: A treatise on the Holden Motor. Mainly
for Australian readers but overseas visitors may find it entertaining too.

URL changes. Update your link to Mustang Sallys
Landrover Pages.
WAS: http://mrbean.net.au/~rover/landrover/index.htm
NOW: http://mrbean.net.au/~rover
This came about because I misunderstood the directory structure on the Mr Beans
Internet server.
Less than 24 hours after launching these pages I've been put on the right
track. Early visitors who saved the original, long bookmark should take care to save the
new bookmark.
Also changed title of main page so that name of
saved bookmark comes out as Mustang Sallys Landrover Pages, not just Home
Page.
Added a story to Tales of
the Unexpected.
Tidied up some tables in Gearbox sections of Tech
Stuff, made them easier to navigate, added some more information, rectified a small
factual error
Fixed sundry spelling errors and formatting
problems. Added a datestamp to bottom of each page.
Coming Soon! An article on selecting the
right speedo for your truck
Some notes on the high speed transfer case conversion.
